Ingredients

  • 12 Corn tortillas
  • 500 grams Ground beef
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch of Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 large Avocado, sliced
  • 200 grams Cheese, shredded
  • 1 small Lime, cut into wedges
  • 200 grams Salsa
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil

Method

  • Heat 1 tbsp of Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then sauté the chopped Onion until it is translucent.
  • Add the Ground beef to the skillet, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Cook until it is browned and no longer pink.
  • While the beef is cooking, add the Cumin, Paprika, Chili Powder, Salt, and Pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • In a separate skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of Olive Oil over medium heat. Lightly warm the Corn tortillas on both sides, then set aside and keep warm.
  • To assemble the tacos, place a small amount of the beef mixture in the center of each tortilla.
  • Top with shredded Cheese, a few slices of Avocado, a spoonful of Salsa, and a sprinkle of fresh Cilantro.
  • Serve the tacos immediately, with Lime wedges on the side for an extra zing.

Tips

  • For an extra layer of flavor, add a few drops of Sriracha to the tacos to spice things up.
  • Make sure to warm the tortillas just before serving to keep them soft and pliable.
  • To keep the beef mixture juicy, cook on medium heat and stir to combine the spices fully.
