  • 150 grams of walnuts or pistachios, finely chopped
  • 100 grams of butter, melted
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 150 grams of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Method

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C.
  • In a bowl, mix the chopped walnuts or pistachios with the cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
  • Brush a baking dish with melted butter. Layer 2 sheets of phyllo dough, and brush with more butter. Repeat until you have 6 layers.
