Ingredients

  • 400 grams of beef, cubed
  • 200 grams of spinach, chopped
  • 50 grams of peanut butter
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 50 milliliters of palm oil
  • 1 tablespoon of crayfish (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ground ginger

Method

  • Heat the palm oil in a large pot and sauté the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent.
  • Add the beef cubes, salt, black pepper, curry powder, and ground ginger. Cook until the beef is browned.
  • Stir in the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste. Cook for 10 minutes until the tomatoes are softened.
  • Add the peanut butter and 200 milliliters of water to the pot. Stir until the peanut butter is fully dissolved.
  • Simmer the mixture for 30 minutes, ensuring the beef becomes tender.
  • Add the spinach and crayfish, and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste and serve warm.
