Ingredients

  • 200 grams Ground beef
  • 200 grams Chicken, shredded
  • 300 grams Corn, kernels
  • 1 large Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 80 grams Olives, pitted and sliced
  • 2 Hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 30 grams Butter
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Corn Flour

Method

  • In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent.
  • Add the ground beef and shredded chicken to the pan and cook until browned.
  • Sprinkle with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to blend the flavors.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter and add corn kernels. Cook for a few minutes, then add sugar and milk and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Using a blender, puree the corn mixture until smooth. Stir in corn flour to thicken.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a baking dish, arrange a layer of the beef and chicken mixture, topped with olives and sliced hard-boiled eggs.
  • Pour the corn puree over the top, spreading it to cover the filling evenly.
  • Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is golden and set.
