Serves: 2, Difficulty: Easy

Preparation Time: 15 minutes, Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 400 grams of red cabbage, shredded
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 grams of white cheese, crumbled
  • 30 grams of butter
  • 15 ml of vegetable oil
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the vegetable oil.

  • Pour in the water and cover the skillet. Allow the cabbage to cook and soften, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes.
  • In a separate pan, cook the eggs to your liking. Fry in a small amount of butter for 3 minutes.
  • Once the cabbage is tender and the water is mostly evaporated, adjust the seasoning to taste.
  • Serve the cabbage with crumbled white cheese and eggs on the side.

Tips

  • For a touch of heat, add a pinch of chili powder to the cabbage.
  • To enhance the flavor, consider toasting the cheese lightly under a grill before crumbling over the cabbage.
