Ingredients
- 200 grams of minced beef (leftovers)
- 2 potatoes
- 1 small cabbage
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1 tomato
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of coriander
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Peel and dice the potatoes into small 1 cm cubes and set aside.
- Finely chop the cabbage, celery, tomato, and onion.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are golden and tender.
- Remove the potatoes and set aside. Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet.
- Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Add the celery, cabbage, tomato, and minced beef to the skillet. Stir in the salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for about 7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and the beef is well-incorporated.
- Return the potatoes to the skillet and mix well. Cook for an additional 3 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Remove from heat and let the skillet sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
Tips
- For a more vibrant dish, garnish with a handful of fresh coriander or a sprinkle of paprika.
- Ensure to cook the potatoes until they are golden and crispy for the perfect texture.
- For a spicier kick, feel free to add a pinch of chili flakes to the mix.
