Ingredients
- 200g stewing beef, cut into chunks
- 50g bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 small carrot, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 50ml red wine
- 50ml beef broth
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 50g mushrooms, quartered
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sriracha
Method
- Heat a small pot over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crisp. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the stewing beef chunks and brown on all sides.
