Ingredients
- 200g Plain Flour
- 100g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 200g Tinned Tuna
- 2 tbsp Harissa
- 50g Capers
- 100g Parsley, finely chopped
- 1 Lemon, cut into wedges
- 200 ml Milk
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and 50g of butter. Rub the butter into the flour until it resembles breadcrumbs.
- Press the butter-flour mixture into a tart tin to form the tart shell. Bake the shell for 15 minutes until golden.
- Heat the remaining butter and olive oil in a pan, and sauté the tinned tuna with harissa for 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs and milk, and season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the tart shell and layer with the tuna mixture, capers, and parsley. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the custard is set.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
