Ingredients
- 300 grams of beef
- 2 leeks, sliced
- 300 grams of potatoes
- 100 grams of cheddar cheese, grated
- 100 millilitres of milk
- 50 grams of butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 pinch of thyme
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 500 millilitres of water
- 1 beef stock cube
Method
- Preheat your oven to 190°C.
- Peel and cook the potatoes in boiling water until tender, then drain.
- Mash the potatoes with butter and milk until creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a pan, cook the beef until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté the onion and leeks until soft.
- Return the beef to the pan and add 500 millilitres of water and the beef stock cube. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
